Carpet sanitisation is a treatment aimed specifically at reducing bacteria, viruses, dust mites and other microbial matter living within the carpet pile, rather than just lifting visible dirt and stains. A standard carpet clean removes soil and grime and leaves carpet looking and smelling fresh, but it isn’t formulated to significantly reduce microbial load.
