The section of carpet behind the furniture had visibly discoloured from water damage, and simply cleaning it wasn’t going to fix the underlying issue. On top of that, the carpet across the room had loosened, creating ripples that needed to be pulled tight again for both appearance and safety.
We combined a patch repair with a full re-stretch to fix both issues in the one visit:
The water-damaged patch is now invisible, matched from the homeowner’s own carpet stock, and the room sits flat and tight after the re-stretch. The homeowner also came away with a fresh spare piece in their cupboard for any future repairs.
