Most household and commercial stains, including wine, coffee, tea, pet stains, blood, ink, food, mud and chewing gum. Each is treated differently, so it’s worth checking the specific guide above for the stain you’re dealing with if you know what caused it.

Can old or set-in stains be removed?

Many can be significantly reduced or fully removed, depending on the stain type, the carpet fibre, and how long it’s been there. Permanent dyes or bleach marks are the main exception, and we’re upfront if a patch repair is the more realistic option.

What should I do immediately after a spill?

Blot, don’t rub, with a clean cloth to lift as much as possible, and avoid hot water or harsh household products, since heat and the wrong chemicals are what actually set most stains permanently. Beyond that, the right first response depends on what’s spilled, which is why we’ve broken it down stain by stain above.

Will stain treatment damage my carpet?

Not when it’s done correctly. We identify the fibre first, wool included, and use solutions matched to it rather than a single generic product across every job.

Can you guarantee a stain will come out completely?

We can’t guarantee 100% removal on every stain, some permanent dyes or very old, set stains may not fully reverse. Where that’s the case, we’ll say so upfront and offer a seamless patch repair as the alternative.
