This East Auckland homeowner had a single garage with bare concrete flooring, usable for little more than parking the car. They wanted a space that could double as a home gym and storage for bikes and scooters, without giving up the ability to park inside when needed.
The garage floor was plain concrete: cold, hard, and limited to one function. It wasn’t practical for exercise, uncomfortable underfoot, and didn’t suit the family’s plans to use the space for gym equipment, bikes and scooters as well as the car.
We converted the space with a full garage carpet installation:
The garage is now a genuinely multi-use space. The car still fits, but the floor is also comfortable and practical for a home gym setup, and durable enough for bikes and scooters to be wheeled in and out without damaging the surface.
A homeowner in Auckland Central came to us with a stubborn dark pink stain on their solution-dyed nylon carpet. Previous attempts to remove it hadn’t worked, and the pigment had set into the fibres, leaving a visible mark in a high-traffic area of the home.
